More surprisingly, for the second time in two days, they’ve added a fullback to the roster. On Tuesday, the Vikings claimed fullback Luke McNitt off of waivers from the Atlanta Falcons. He joins incumbent fullback C.J. Ham and the Kobe McCrary Adam Thielen Jersey , the former Golden Gopher who signed with the team yesterday.McNitt, who played his college football at the University of Nebraska, went undrafted this past April and signed with the Falcons on 1 May. McNitt did not accumulate any stats in two preseason games with the Falcons, but was in contention for the fullback job with the Falcons. With the Vikings adding another running back, it is worth noting that neither Mike Boone nor Roc Thomas practiced on Tuesday. I don’t think that the McNitt signing is going to affect those two being the primary contenders for the #3 running back spot with the Vikings, but it does stand to reason that McNitt could see some action on Friday against the Seattle Seahawks if neither Boone nor Thomas can go.The Vikings still have one open spot on the 90-man roster, but there hasn’t been any word yet on who might occupy it yet.
